INFORMATION / OOC INTROS
This is a sandbox with the vague setting of "Xavier's School after the timeline-fixing events of X-Men: Days of Future Past", which means it's rooted in the X-Men Cinematic Universe. However, some elements have been taken from Marvel 616's Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, which really just means that 1) Wolverine has taken over the headmaster post; and 2) there's a time cube in Hank McCoy's lab that has people from different timelines popping in and out of the school.
Characters from all canons and OCs are welcome to play, and we do accept doubles/other versions of characters, but they must have a mutation/superhuman abilities of some kind to be part of the school's staff or student body. Feel free to AU things as you like! If your character has no abilities, they can easily just be visiting and hanging around, as the school lets non-powered people in as well to interact with the students.
Membership is open to all, players can make entries if they so wish, etc. We don't really have any rules here and you're welcome to treat this with a meme-esque timeline, where ships are separate from each other and what not. Have fun!

- The timeline that this is set in is Earth-TRN414, which is basically the new timeline that was made after the X-Men film Days of Future Past.
- Yeah, Wolverine (as played by

danzan) is headmaster. He's kind of digging it, even if it's kicking his ass. The Charles of his timeline has finally retired and only teaches a subject or two. - Subjects taught vary from "normal" subjects like Calculus to more "special" subjects like Psychic Defenses 101. Subjects are taught by the X-Men.
- Graduates of the school either return to normal society or decide to stay on as X-Men and professors. They can return at any time as visiting alumni or to take the X-Man name up.
- X-Men training begins when a student is in their junior year (third year) of high school, meaning these students are "trainees". The school follows the American system with four years of high school.
- X-Men do not have to be limited to the ones seen in the films! Characters can be AU'd into X-Men so long as they're of appropriate age.
- Guest lecturers and exchange students are a thing. This means that you don't have to be full-time staff to teach something (maybe you only teach in the spring semester, or for two weeks as a "special course", etc.), and students can come from all over so long as they have abilities. As an example, Hogwarts kids can come as they are or you can AU them into mutants, but kids from High School Musical -- who don't have superhuman abilities -- need to be AU'd.
- Villains that want nothing to do with the school are welcome to attack it. Or to exist in it to cause general mayhem. It's a pretty big school.
- Hank McCoy's time cube allows characters from various timelines to appear and exist at the same time as their past/future selves. This means that Jean Grey from the end of Days of Future Past can exist at the same time as Jean Grey from Apocalypse. According to Hank, this doesn't screw the timeline up as long as they stay within the school grounds... but who even listens to adults, anyway.
- Do not feed the Bamfs, which are tiny Nightcrawler-looking critters that teleport around the school grounds with the pest-like tendencies of rats with opposable thumbs. Also, do not give them whiskey, even if they ask for it. Especially not Professor Logan's whiskey.
